Terri Pirtle, Executive Director of the ONEOK Foundation, along with ONEOK pipeline employee Rick Denley and ONEOK Operations Manager Randy Mashburn presented Webbers Falls Schools with a check for $120,000 yesterday. ONEOK had pledged $1 million for Flood Relief, and we were fortunate to get a piece of the pie. They also donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross. Donation money will be used to purchase playground equipment, Ipads, computer chairs, and other technology or student/teacher needs. There are no words to describe the gratitude we feel for this tremendous donation. Thank you, ONEOK Foundation, for supporting the students and staff at Webbers Falls Public Schools. (The diagram below is the blueprint for our new elementary playground equipment.)

Thank you, Buckhorn Freewill Baptist Church, for the donation to replace the trophy case in memory of Cindy Hayes. Mrs. Hayes taught 2nd grade here and was a member of Buckhorn FWB. Pastor Darren Wright delivered a check today. Pastor Wright and Louie Fritts also delivered snack bags for each student Monday morning from Buckhorn. We are blessed.

Webbers Falls students will return to halls bedecked with signs representing various character traits. These signs were removed from the halls of the now closed Alice Robertson School in Muskogee. The teachers who painstakingly removed the signs were Mr. Hicks, Mr. Wilkett, Mrs. Johnson, & Mrs. Ruckman. The signs were returned to Webbers Falls, and Mr. Hicks took them apart and painted the words and backgrounds in Warrior maroon and gray. He is now hanging them in our halls. Thanks to all those involved in this endeavor. They look awesome!

The Vacation Bible School children of Keys Baptist Church collected $1,000 to support our school. As one the year old told his mother, "I need to take my money to help that school because it is yuck!" It certainly was. Thank you for making your mission project Webbers Falls Public School. Feeling blessed.
