It's been a crazy busy productive week. Tuesday a group of students chose to go to ICTC Tech Quest and Wednesday -Thursday we had YVC Summer of Service Orientation. Lots of learning, serving, and fun. So many volunteer opportunities this summer. We have our food hand out at FBC WF on Tuesday (6/2). We welcome all Webbers Falls students to volunteer. Other opportunities can be found at yvcmuskogee.org or contacting Mrs Johnson.

Mark your calendars for July 11. It is our Cross Country fundraiser. We have a 1 mile fun run at 6 pm and 5k at 6:30 pm. We need all the runners, walkers, and volunteers!! Share this all the places and tell your friends! https://runsignup.com/walterswebbersfalls5k

Coach Holt, Coach H, Mrs Holt (both of 'em), grandkids, Dalton, Caden, and 10 cross country runners all worked hard to help pull flags set up for Memorial Day at the Ft Gibson National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 26. It is such a great experience to see all the history while honoring those who served.

Current Openings

More WF Warriors working for our community! DJ and Charlee worked hard today to get more clothes ready for next Saturday (5/30) when the Clothes Closet is open from 9-12.

All Cross Country and football players and ANY OTHER VOLUNTEERS - we will be leaving the school at 8:15 on Tuesday morning to go to the Fort Gibson National Cemetery to pick up flags from Memorial Day. This is such a powerful event and great way to honor our fallen soldiers. Please join us.

Another volunteer activity ... building flower beds. Special thanks to McKenzie McKaskle for her help on this one.
If you are between 12 and 18, volunteer opportunities can be found at yvcmuskogee.org and transportation is provided to and from the school for most projects.

This is a great, fun, strength building activity! I would love to help transport any WFHS athletes who would like to try this to gain muscle and GRIT. Contact me, Meghan Johnson, if interested.

We are less than 24 hours into summer and we have already had three volunteer opportunities! Huge thanks to these kids who started their summer by giving back.

Senior Sunset was a success! Thanks to all who came out, loaned boards and bags, and have supported this group all these years. Tonight they graduate, tomorrow their futures begin! May God protect their hearts, minds, souls, and bodies.
