Webbers Falls Public Schools

Due to the rain, Football Homecoming will be held in the OLD GYM at Webbers Falls School at 5:45pm tomorrow October 25th.

The Fall Festival will still be held in the OLD gym at Webbers Falls, tomorrow night, October 24th, from 6pm-8pm.

Due to our gyms not being finished, our 3/4 and 5/6 grade games scheduled on October 29th will be held at Okay. On October 30th the 3/4 and 5/6th grade games will be held at Braggs starting at 12 noon. The 5/6 grade Festival at Webbers Falls has been MOVED to Gores Elem (OLD) gym for November 4th and November 5th.

Webbers Falls School received a $20,000 library grant from Dollar General. The Beyond Words Grant is for public schools whose library program has been substantially affected by a natural disaster. Dollar General collaborates with the American Library Association, the American Association of School Librarians, and National Education Association in sponsoring this grant. Ronnie Campbell of Mission Owasso delivered a load of teaching resources and coats for students. This is the fourth donation we have received from Mission Owasso since the flood. Thank you so much for generosity and support.

Student Council and 4-H will be hosting the annual Fall Festival Thursday, October 24, from 6 to 8 PM.

Connie Foster delivered a Cricut craft/paper cutting machine for our teachers on behalf of the Cookson United Methodist Church. WFS Teacher Kaye Potts received the donation on behalf of our staff. Thank you for this unique gift!

5/6 Grade Tournament at Gore Oct 21st-24th. The girls will play at 7:00pm and the boys will play at 7:45pm on Monday Oct 21st in Gore's OLD gym. The bus will leave at 6pm.

5/6 grade basketball girls will be playing first tonight at Okay starting at 4:30pm. They will be followed by 3/4 grade girls, 3/4 grade boys, and then the last game will be 5/6 boys. The bus will leave right after school and will return around 8:30pm

Webbers Falls FFA received a $10,000 donation yesterday from the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Foundation. Mr. Matthews and his students will put the money to good use. Thank you!!!

Cherokee Nation will be here to administer flu vaccines for the community, staff, and students on October 21, 2019 from 11:15 AM to 3:00 PM they with a break for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Every student was given a consent form for the flu vaccine. Fill out the entire consent form ONLY IF you want your child to receive the vaccine. Please return the form by October 16th.
