Correction: Our special delivery this morning from Dallas was from “Junior DECATS Dallas” which is a summer camp for 3rd-5th grade. They worked extremely hard getting us some amazing donations. I want to make sure that I give credit where credit is due. Some of the students are from St. Rita, but there are also students from 20 other schools in the diocese. You kids rock! Thank you again.

Just a reminder that all incoming 7th grade students will be required to have a Tetanus booster before returning to school on September 3. This is a state requirement.

I wanted to recognize some individuals who have come forward to help us replace our dilapidated picnic tables. Thank you all for helping our school. I will get some pictures up when we get the tables.

We received a special delivery this morning from St. Rita Catholic School in Dallas, Texas. Jodi Sheffield and her husband delivered several boxes of toys and supplies for our teachers & students. She also had a check for $5,000 for us to give to Dr. Swearingen to aid in the rebuilding of our school. She gave me Walmart & Sam's gift cards to purchase supplies specifically for the teachers. And maybe best of all, her 3rd and 4th grade students sent a stack of home-made cards that each had prepared for us. A few of us shed some happy tears as we looked at them. They were simply amazing! We cannot thank you enough.

Earlier this week, Chad Harp, Principal of Maryetta School in Stilwell, dropped off a Suburban load of gently used text books and library books. Mrs. Lori Menie helped us unload the items. I want to send out a special thanks to Chad and his staff at Maryetta.
