Dear parents and students,
Starting on December 9, 2019 our Webbers Falls 4-H and FFA groups will be holding a food drive for non-perishable food items. These food items will be distributed to local families in need. The food drive will end December 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM. At that time we will weigh the food. The class that brings the most pounds of food will be awarded a pizza party!

Math help is available December 10-13 (Tuesday- Friday) before school, at lunch and after school in Mrs Johnson’s room. Let’s finish this semester strong.

After school yesterday, Mrs. Treadwell's 4-H members made Christmas tree ornaments for the Webbers Falls Christmas Festival. Nice work!

Mrs. Johnson, Mr. Hicks, & Mrs. Sanders are sponsoring a robotics club after school. They are busy building remote control robots.

Aaron Hatfiend, Manager of Webbers Falls Loves, delivered a grant check for $4,600 from the Trustees of the Love Family Affiliated Fund. Loves stores across the state contributed to the grant. Thank you so much for this generous donation!


We want to send out a special thanks to Crossing Christian School Lower Elementary in Oklahoma City for sending us two boxes of new books. They used their own Scholastic Book Fair money to purchase them. Over 90% of the books in our library have been donated. We are ever thankful for our many supporters.

Congratulations to our 7th/8th Lady Warriors basketball team for placing 2nd in the Porum Tournament before Thanksgiving break. Way to go!

JUNIORS: Youth Leadership Oklahoma (YLOK) is currently accepting applications for Class 20. YLOK is seeking applicants who are current high school juniors and passionate about advocating for their community and state. During the program, students will travel the state for a week in the summer and learn about critical issues that impact Oklahoman's (criminal justice, diversity, health care, economics, philanthropy, government, etc). Participants will have the opportunity to connect with peers and develop their leadership and teambuilding skills. This program is provided at no cost to the participants. Applications can be picked up in the counselor's office or online at https://www.leadershipoklahoma.com/youth-program/youth-application. They are due Dec. 4th 2019.

5-9th graders... we are building robots after school on Mondays and Wednesday’s from 3:30-4:30 in Mrs Johnson’s room.

We received bags of school supplies yesterday from several churches within the Cherokee Baptist Association. The supply drive was organized by the Women's Missionary Union. Lisa Turtle of Tahlequah delivered the items.
