Our prospective new 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Christina White, helped me receive a generous trunk load of new school supplies from Wynona Roy and her fellow teachers at Kerr Elementary in Tulsa. Mrs. Roy's grandson Kellen Thomas helped us unload. Thank you for your support, Kerr Elementary!

Working hard (as usual) School Nurse Judy Treadwell and her father Johnnie Capps were hanging sheet rock in the pre-k building today. You won't find a harder working duo than this father/daughter team. We appreciate everything you are doing for our school. Your hard work is not unrecognized.

Jeannie Frost from Gore donated a nice collection of supplies for Webbers Falls teachers to Mr. John Hicks at church this evening. What a blessing!

Well spoken, my friend. Thank you.

NOTICE TO PARENTS OF WF STUDENTS: The first day of school will be Tuesday, September 3rd. You may enroll your child August 21st-23rd, from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. This is also the designated time to meet your child's teachers. Due to our late start and the fact that football and softball will already be in progress, we are unable to have an open house event in the evening. Also, I strongly urge parents to not purchase school supplies for your child or children. We are expecting many supply donations over the next few weeks. Students in K-3rd will be receiving a backpack. I also have a limited number of new backpacks that were donated. We should have plenty of supplies to begin the year. I am so excited to see the kids again! This flood may have knocked us down, but we are coming back stronger than before. Just wait and see.

These are the tables under the pavilion on our playground; one is in front of the cafeteria. Is there anyone out there who might build some new picnic tables for our children? Does anyone have a gently used table that is not being used? We gladly accept donations! (Obviously) Send me an email at lward@webbersfalls.k12.ok.us if you want to help us out.
