We got a big shipment from our Amazon Wish List today. Helping me load the packages at the post office was Jerry Ward; helping me unpack and sort the items in my storage building was Lori Meni. I will post names of donors in an upcoming post.

I want to send out a thanks to those who showed up to weed eat: Travis Cox, Steve Shelby, Gunner Shelby, Coach Holt & Coach Ward.

It's a great day for weed-eating! Bring your weed eater and look for Coach Ward at the football field. The fun will begin at 5:00. (Okay, maybe it's not that fun, but we would sure appreciate your help in getting our fields back in shape.)

Kick for a Cause has chosen Webbers Falls Public School as their "cause" this year. Please support this kickball tournament on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Please contact others to make a team to participate or just come to watch and have a good time. Feeling Blessed.

Warner 4-H brought another load of supplies for WF teachers. Donations were received by Lori Menie and Lisa Ward.

Ronnie from Mission Owasso brought another load of classroom supplies for WF teachers. Accepting the donations were Mariah Hogan, Lori Menie, and Lisa Ward.

We received more donations from our Amazon Wish List yesterday. We received generous gifts from Ronna G. Banks (again), Sharon L. Pratt and Gary Pratt (WF Class of 1961). Thank you! Also, I have fixed the shipping issue that some were facing on a few of the items. All items should now ship without complication. I will be posting donors' names as I receive the packages. I do not know who a donor is until I see the packing information that reveals who the gift is from. So if you have purchased items, and I have not listed your name, it just means the items have not been received. Every donation will be recognized.

We received ten boxes of donations from Amazon today. There were so many amazing items that our teachers and students will use! Thank you to following individuals who delivered our first "Christmas in July" with their generous gifts: Ronna G. Banks, Kim Howerton, Kristina Jones, Deborah Pitts Felder (Class of 1972), and Donna Maloy Woods (Class of 1978). Others who would like to support can still go to http://a.co/3FU2aJT to purchase items from Amazon that will be shipped directly to our school. There are items starting at less than $5, and no gift is too small. Thanks to everyone who has helped us with our flood relief over the last month.

We received a generous donation of gently used library books from Warner 4-H this morning. These items were delivered by Katelynn Lewis, 4-H President; Emily Lewis, 4-H Vice President; Callee Good, FFA President; Nathan Lewis, 4-H Game Leader, and Stephana Good. The items were received by Mrs. Lori Menie & Mrs. Lisa Ward. This same group plans to deliver a big load of school supplies Friday morning that have been collected at various drop off locations in the Warner area. Thank you, neighbors. We appreciate your help.

Feeling blessed. Thank you for purchasing supplies from our "Wish list" on Amazon.

Today was a busy day for many of our high school athletes. They cleaned a layer of river mud and debris off of our tennis court playground area, as well as completing some other much-needed tasks. They were supervised and assisted by Coach Ward, Coach Stefanie Norman, Judy Treadwell, Ralph Carter, Jennifer Hall, Claudia Fonseca, and Mr. Wyatt. Mr. Hicks helped out with weed-eating. Nice work everyone!

Due to popular request, I have created an Amazon Wish List on behalf of the Teachers of Webbers Falls Schools. If you know of a business, organization, or individual who wants to help out, please share this link: http://a.co/3FU2aJT. There are items of every price range. Purchased items will be shipped to Webbers Falls Schools. Thank you.

The Regular Board Meetings for July and August will be located in the Board Office of the Webbers Falls Municipal Complex, 417 Highway 100, Webbers Falls. The meeting will begin at 7 PM. Thursday, July 11, 2019 and Monday, August 12, 2019.

The coaches at Webbers Falls Schools are asking all high school athletes (all sports, grades 9-12) to help clean and work at the school on Tuesday (7/9) and Wednesday (7/10). Report to the pavilion at 9:00 a.m. If possible bring/wear gloves and use sunscreen and insect repellent. If you can bring and operate a weed eater that would be great! (Parents are welcome to help out too.)

I forgot to add Ali Morton to the list of WF Staff who assisted on Friday. Ali is the one who had secured the donations from Ben Franklin and Bartlesville. She had to leave early Friday because she had some big plans later that day. Let's just say we will be calling her Mrs. Sanders next year instead of Ms. Morton. Congratulations to Ali & Jake.

Friday, June 28th, several members of the WF faculty helped unload and sort out five different loads of donations. They included library books, posters and bulletin board decor, teaching resources, and general supplies for both students and teachers. The first two loads were from Ben Franklin in Muskogee and Bartlesville. The next three were from Shirley Shamblin of Vian (library books from Hilldale MS & HS), Jennifer Crumby of Shiloh Christian School in Tahelquah, and Stephanie Payne from Irving in Muskogee. On Thursday, we picked up a Suburban full of supplies from Mission Owasso. WF Staff assisting in the unloading and sorting of these items on Thursday and Friday were Lori Meni, Rose Olson, Dana Crumpler, Mindy Jarrard, Mariah Hogan, Jerry Ward, and Lisa Ward.

We want to send out a special thanks to POE (Professional Oklahoma Educators) for their special delivery of school furniture today. We received 30 chairs, 14 file cabinets, 3 wooden teacher desks, 8 short cabinets on rollers, 3 x-large bookshelves, 2 medium bookshelves, 5 assorted rectangular tables, a padded bench, and some misc. supplies. It was an entire truckload! After leaving WF, the POE trucks headed to Moffet School to deliver similar items. Thank you POE for assisting your teachers and schools in need. Your support is greatly appreciated.
