With the colder weather students will be wearing coats with hoods, hats, etc. Please remind them to not share those items as lice can be spread in this way. Also please check your children frequently for the possibility of lice.
There will be a Junior High (7th and 8th grade) basketball game tomorrow, November 12th, at Warner. The girls will play at 1:00pm and the boys will play at 2:15pm. The bus will leave the school at 12:00pm.
Due to potential hazardous road conditions, in addition to the fact that we currently still do not have water at the school, the 5th/6th & 7th/8th basketball games scheduled tonight have been cancelled.
Amanda Johnson, 4th Grade Teacher at Vian Elementary, organized a book drive for the Webbers Falls Library. She and a fellow teacher, Jo Anna Hawley, delivered the books on Friday. Thank you, fellow educators, for helping us out.
Mrs. Johnson is planning on being in her room next week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 -4:30 to help 5th-12th graders with their math homework.
Webbers Falls Livestock Booster Club will be holding a meeting Saturday November 9, 2019 @ 4:00 PM in the Ag Classroom.
The induction ceremony for the Webbers Falls National Honor Society will be Thursday, November 7th, at 6:00 p.m. in the old gym.

Parents: Due to a temporary shortage of bus drivers, we are running only two bus routes. This may cause your child to be dropped off later than usual. We ran only two bus routes yesterday, so it should be about that same time again today.

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. Webbers Falls Schools will observe Red Ribbon Week October 28th-November 1st. It is being sponsored by the Webbers Falls Chapter of the National Honor Society. DESIGNATED DRESS UP DAYS -

Starting today, The Webbers Falls FCCLA are selling Boo-Grams. They are $5 each and will be delivered at school on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Order forms were sent home today.
Each Boo-Gram will include a can of crush pop, Halloween Trick or Treat Bag, Plush Spook-a-delic Character, Halloween Friendship Bracelet, Glow in the Dark Tattoos, and Halloween Pencil top eraser. Orders must be turned in to Ms. Ruckman no later than 3:30 PM on October 29, 2019. Checks need to be made payable to Webbers Falls Public School. If sending cash please send correct amount as we will not be able to get change back to every child.
Due to the rain, Football Homecoming will be held in the OLD GYM at Webbers Falls School at 5:45pm tomorrow October 25th.
The Fall Festival will still be held in the OLD gym at Webbers Falls, tomorrow night, October 24th, from 6pm-8pm.
Due to our gyms not being finished, our 3/4 and 5/6 grade games scheduled on October 29th will be held at Okay. On October 30th the 3/4 and 5/6th grade games will be held at Braggs starting at 12 noon. The 5/6 grade Festival at Webbers Falls has been MOVED to Gores Elem (OLD) gym for November 4th and November 5th.
Webbers Falls School received a $20,000 library grant from Dollar General. The Beyond Words Grant is for public schools whose library program has been substantially affected by a natural disaster. Dollar General collaborates with the American Library Association, the American Association of School Librarians, and National Education Association in sponsoring this grant.
