On "Distance Learning Days" on our school calendar, students will not attend school in person. They will receive instruction from their teachers via Google Classroom. Parents who want to pick up a sack breakfast and lunch for their child or children on those dates must contact the school at least 24 hours in advance so the cafeteria staff will know to have it ready.

Please view the video for morning instructions for dropping off students, bus rider procedures, and parking for student drivers. The teachers and staff at Webbers Falls Schools are eagerly awaiting the arrival of your children Thursday morning. School starts at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Because of the morning screening process, please have your child or children here no later than 8:00 a.m. if possible. Pre-K and Kindergarten students will eat breakfast in their classrooms beginning at 8:00 a.m. Students in 1st-4th grade will eat breakfast in the cafeteria from 8:00 - 8:15 a.m. After being screened, students in 5th-12th grade will assemble in the new gym until their scheduled breakfast from 8:15 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. All students and staff are required to wear face masks. If your child does not have a face mask, he or she will be provided one upon entering the bus or upon arrival at school. Our students' safety and well-being are our highest priority. We are prepared to offer a traditional curriculum for students on campus as well as a virtual curriculum for those who chose this alternative. We are allowing a two week grace period for parents to decide if they want their child to be traditional or virtual. If you have signed up for traditional, and want to go virtual, you have two weeks to make the change. Likewise, if you begin virtual and decide to switch to traditional, you can do so within two weeks. Virtual students who want to pick up breakfast and lunch need to contact the school for more information. We can wait to see our students Thursday morning! (You will need to turn the sound up pretty loud to here the video well.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vW2ea9Sj0zk

NOTICE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF WF STUDENTS: You may begin returning enrollment packets to the school as previously posted. Only six visitors will be allowed in the school at a time. One person from each household should bring the enrollment forms in. The counselor will not be seeing students or parents at this time. You will be notified if/when we need more information or if the student needs to visit with the counselor. If you would like to pick up a backpack for your child or children, you may do that when you bring your enrollment forms in. All other school supplies will be distributed by the classroom teachers on the first day of class or on an as needed basis. Virtual students will not need a backpack. Return your enrollment packets based on the last name of the student. If students in the same household have different last names, go by the last name of the majority of your children or of the oldest student. Enrollment forms should be returned by household. (Thursday, A-H; Friday, I-R; Monday, S-Z)

All enrollment packets are ready to be picked up. They are located in the filing cabinets in front of the school. We would like for the packets to be picked up Monday through Wednesday of this week. High School students that are driving need to fill out the driver permission form and ALL 9th-12th graders need to fill out the Core Curriculum form. In order to stagger in packets, we would like for students with last names starting with A-H to bring packets back on Thursday 9am-2pm, I-R on Friday 9am-2pm, and S-Z on Monday 9am-2pm. ALL packets need to be marked whether the student will be 100% Virtual or Traditional (On Campus).

Parents & Guardians: The first day of school (August 13th) is just around the corner. Because of Covid-19, we realize that there may be a few parents or guardians who would prefer their child or children to not return to a traditional brick and mortar school setting. Webbers Falls Schools will offer a full-time virtual option, but we need to know in advance whether this is the option you will be choosing, so our staff can begin preparations. Keep in mind the following: Students who are 100% virtual will not be allowed to participate in extra-curricular activities. Also, if you choose 100% online, you must remain in this setting until the end of the semester, which is December 17th. If you believe virtual learning is best for your child(ren), please call the school to let us know. We need to know the name of your child and what grade he or she will be in. Also, do not come to pick up the enrollment packets until we officially announce they are ready. Thank you.

NOTICE TO PARENTS & GUARDIANS OF WEBBERS FALLS STUDENTS: You do not need to purchase basic school supplies for you children (paper, crayons, pencils, markers, glue, scissors, or folders). We were blessed last year with many donations and have a pretty good carry-over. We will purchase any additional items the students may need. Last year we offered free backpacks to all students, but only around half took them. Therefore, we have several left that we will make available during pre-enrollment. Many will choose to purchase backpack/s for their child or children. The only item you will need to purchase for your child is gym or athletic shoes if he or she is in PK-6th grade or participates in competitive sports grades 7th-12th grade. If parents, guardians, or other community members would like to assist the school in providing supplies for students and teachers, here are some items that we will have to purchase if not donated: hand sanitizer, hand wipes for lower elementary, Clorox or other disinfectant wipes, tissues, earbuds, construction paper, clear sheet protectors, copy paper, and quart & gallon size Ziploc bags. You can either purchase these items and bring them by the school or you can make a donation that will be used to purchase these items. All checks need to be made out to Webbers Falls Schools and should be given to one of the site principals, who will ensure the donation is allocated specifically for school supplies.

WF School does have a very detailed re-entry plan that outlines the specific guidelines we must follow as set forth by the CDC and the State Department. Our plan is being presented to the Board of Education next Monday night, July 13th, and once approved, it will be released to the public. I suggest waiting until after it is posted to make your decision. We just wanted parents to know they are going to have some options so they could start thinking about it.

Parents & Guardians: The first day of school (August 13th) is just around the corner. Because of Covid-19, we realize that there may be a few parents or guardians who would prefer their child or children to not return to a traditional brick and mortar school setting. Webbers Falls Schools will offer a full-time virtual option for the fall semester, but we need to know in advance whether this is the option you will be choosing, so our staff can begin preparations. Keep in mind the following: Students who are 100% virtual will not be allowed to participate in PE or Athletics. Also, if you choose 100% online, you must remain in this setting until the end of the semester, which is December 17th. While we have numerous online programs and curriculums for our students to utilize, there is no real substitution for in-person direct instruction by a teacher, especially for students in PK-4th grade. Therefore, I would caution you to strongly consider this before making the decision for your child or children to be 100% online. Beginning Monday, July 13th, you may contact the school at (918) 464-2383 if you are planning on utilizing the 100% virtual option. If you intend for your child to return to the traditional classroom, you do not need to call the school. We hope to have enrollment packets ready and available for pickup beginning the week of July 20th. We will be putting these in cabinets in front of our school, so that you do not have to enter the school to pick them up. We are asking that these not be returned until we announce the specific dates. We will try to stagger enrollment beginning the week of July 27th to avoid congestion. Once again, if you want your child or children to be 100% online for the entire fall semester (August 13th – December 17th) call the school beginning Monday, July 13th. We need to know the name of your child and what grade he or she will be in. Also, do not come to pick up the enrollment packets until we officially announce they are ready. Thank you.
